Awards Day
First Quarter Awards Day will be held in the gym on Friday, November 7th. Please see the times listed below for each grade level.
7th Grade:  8:15
8th Grade: 9:15
6th Grade: 11:15

Fall Festival
Our fall festival will be November 14th from 5-7:30 pm. We are encouraging each  homeroom class to submit a basket for silent auction. Classes are welcome to combine items for a basket. Please have baskets turned in no later than Wednesday, Nov. 13 with a bidding sheet describing items in the basket.
     Groups are also encouraged to sponsor a booth. So far we have Beta Club doing basketball throw and Serteen doing Spin it to Win it. We have a popcorn machine, snow cone machine and cans of colored hairspray available your group can use if interested.
 


Bob Richards Automotive’s 60 Day $10k Giveaway
Benefitting Aiken County Schools



There are two ways to participate:
1) Between October 1st and November 30th, “Like” Bob Richards’ Facebook page and Bob Richards will donate $1 to the Aiken County School District, up to $5,000!

2) Earn points for your favorite High School, Middle School, or Elementary School
There will be one winner in each category:
High School with the most points wins......................................................$2,500
Middle School with the most points wins...................................................$1,500
Elementary School with the most points wins...........................................$1,000
You can earn up to 3 points for your school:
Write your school’s name and tell us why it’s the best............................1 point
Tell us your favorite teacher’s name.........................................................1 point
Tell us your favorite Toyota or Nissan model.............................................1 point
We’ll keep score daily, so check often!
Together we can raise $10,000!

Athletic Game Pass for 2014
Athletic game passes are available for purchase.
The cost is $50. This includes all
home games of all KMS sports.

Yearbooks are available for purchase online (click on image) or during homeroom.

The cost of the full color yearbook is $37.00




 


As a parent of a student at Kennedy Middle School, you have the right to know the professional qualifications of the classroom teachers and instructional assistants who instruct your child. Federal law allows you to ask for the following information about your child’s classroom teachers and requires us to give you this information in a timely manner:
  •  whether the teacher is certified to teach the subjects and/or grade levels the teacher is teaching,
  • whether the teacher’s certificate is a waiver or substandard certificate
  • the teacher’s academic major, graduate degree, if any, and the teacher’s certification are
If paraprofessionals have been assigned to assist in your child’s classroom, you may also request information regarding their qualifications.
